"From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will be Free"

The International Solidarity Movement welcomes the assistance of women and gay people (e.g. QUIT, Queers Undermining Israeli Terrorism) in resisting the Zionist entity's occupation of Palestinian land. Your participation in Israel Apartheid Week at a university, direct action in Palestine, or participation in a Gaza flotilla all help the Palestinian cause.

As a female or gay activist, it is important for you to understand the cultural differences between your country of origin and that of Palestine. Please follow these guidelines to make your participation in Israel Apartheid Week, a Gaza flotilla, or your visit to occupied Palestine both safe and productive for the Palestinian cause.

Guidelines for Women

(1) Cover your face and hair with a hijab (veil) at all times. Sheikh Taj Din al-Hilali said of rape victims in places like Australia and the United Kingdom, "If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it, whose fault is it—the cats or the uncovered meat? The uncovered meat is the problem. If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab (veil), no problem would have occurred."

(2) Your right to control your body may be limited under Sharia (Islamic law). Per Maxim Lott in "Advocates of Anti-Shariah Measures Alarmed by Judge's Ruling" (Fox News, August 5 2010), "Defendant forced plaintiff to have sex with him while she cried. Plaintiff testified that defendant always told her 'this is according to our religion. You are my wife, I can do anything to you. The woman, she should submit and do anything I ask her to do.'"

(3) Your right to legal redress for sexual assault may be limited under Sharia law. Per "Iranian Mullahs Stone 13-Year-Old Rape Victim" by Koorosh Afshar (India Daily, October 26, 2004 ), "another girl, 13-year-old 'Zheela', was sentenced to "stoning to death" by another Islamic judge in the city of 'Marivan,' Western Iran. This poor child is sentenced to death because she has been impregnated by her 15-year-old brother."

(4) If you are sexually assaulted despite your conformance to these guidelines, it is vital that you keep the matter to yourself lest it harm the Palestinian cause's public relations. "Female Palestinian Peace Activists Suffer Sexual Harassment, Rape From Palestinians" (Zimbio.com) says, "It won't make the front page of the New York Times, but it seems that female peace activists in Israel who go to Arab villages are looked at as 'piece' activists by the locals in the Arab villages. Women who go to these villages are sexually harassed, molested and in some cases raped."

Gay Activists: Don't Ask and Don't Tell

Sharia defines homosexuality as an abomination, and it is punishable by death in Iran. Per http://www.glapn.org/sodomylaws/world/palestine/psnews003.htm: " Sodomy carries a three- to 10-year jail term in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Palestinian legal experts say enforcement is at the discretion of local authorities and usually requires that the accused be caught in the act. …Israel, which decriminalized sodomy in 1987, is considered among the more liberal of societies when it comes to gay rights."

He enjoins the right upon them, and forbids them from the wrong, and makes lawful for them the wholesome and prohibits for them the foul, and he releases them from them their burden and from the shackles which were upon them. Palestine Solidarity Movement Condemns Arab Countries for Mistreatment of Palestinian Refugees

The Palestine Solidarity Movement (PSM), an international movement committed to assisting peaceful Palestinians using legal and nonviolent public relations methods and principles, condemns Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan for "severe and inhuman restrictions involving residency rights, freedom of movement and employment, as well as property ownership rights." The Palestine Solidarity Movement also condemns Saudi Arabia for being a major part of the problem as opposed to a solution.

The Jerusalem Post reports,

"The Arab countries don't want to absorb the Palestinian refugees," said an official with the PLO Department of Refugees. "They are eager to get rid of the refugee camps in the Arab countries. That's why they are insisting that the Palestinians should return to their homes."

...However, in the absence of legislation regulating their status in most of the Arab countries, the refugees are deprived of civil rights and basic needs. With the exception of Jordan and Syria, Palestinian refugees in the Arab world are subject to the same strict employment laws applicable to foreigners.

Human rights organizations have repeatedly condemned Lebanon's policy of discrimination, but to no avail. As one refugee in the Ein al-Hilweh refugee camp recently told an Arab TV station, "Even the dogs in the Third World have a better life than the Palestinians in Lebanon's camps."

The Palestine Solidarity Movement further notes the appalling civil rights records in Syra, Saudia Arabia. According to Freedom House (2006), Jordan and Lebanon are rated as only "partly free," while Saudi Arabia and Syria are dictatorships. Political and civil liberties are rated on a 1-7 scale, with 1 being best and 7 worst.

Stop Genocide of the Palestinian People

The Palestine Solidarity Movement (PSM), an international movement committed to assisting peaceful Palestinians using legal and nonviolent public relations methods and principles, calls upon the world community to stop the planned genocide of the Palestinian people by the "Aryan" demagogue Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Although Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says openly that he plans to attack Israel with nuclear weapons, his intention is also to exterminate "racially inferior" Palestinian Arabs. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six (Revelations 13:18).

While we do not take the book of Revelations literally, we recognize it as an outstanding model for the charismatic demagogue who has come many times in human history, usually to sow boundless destruction and misery in his wake. His standard modus operandi is to appeal to ignorant and superstitious followers with religious imagery, as done by the Mahdi (the slave trader Mohammed Ahmed, 1843-1885, played by Sir Laurence Olivier in Khartoum) and Mohammed himself.
He may also, however, invoke national and cultural myths and legends. Adolf Hitler appealed to Germanic and Scandinavian legends while broadcasting Wagnerian operas, Napoleon Bonaparte appealed to French nationalism, and Attila the Hun "found" the sword of the War God. Even the sainted Joan of Arc found it convenient to "find" the Sword of Charlemagne lying around somewhere, and her followers found it convenient to at least pretend that it was indeed the artifact in question. As reported by MEMRIhowever, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is going all the way and using the False Prophet and Messianic Leader role pair that appears in Revelations.

The website of the governmental Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) has posted a lengthy document titled "The World toward Illumination." The document is a transcript of an IRIB series on the imminent arrival of the Mahdi, the Twelfth or Hidden Imam, awaited by Shi'ites as the Messiah.

Rational people will probably bet anything, including their lives (which is what we will be doing if we don't take this seriously) that the ~~False Prophet who will affirm Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's divinity~~ Twelfth or Hidden Imam is not going to climb out of that well in which he has been hiding any time in the foreseeable future. We remind our readers of Sky Masterson's lines from Guys and Dolls:

One of these days, a guy is going toshow you a brand-new deck of cardson which the seal is not yet broken.Then this guy is going to offer to bet youthat he can make the jack of spadesjump out of this brand-new deckof cards and squirt cider in your ear.But, son, you do not accept this betbecause, as sure as you stand there,you're going to wind upwith an ear full of cider.

If we make the mistake of accepting the bet that the Twelfth Imam is not going to show up in the near future, we are likely to wind up with an ear full of fission byproducts and the spectre of a mushroom cloud, perhaps in a major city like New York or Washington DC. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has already proved himself a skillful showman and demagogue, is doubtlessly orchestrating the appearance of his Twelfth Imam. Many Iranians will find it convenient to believe that Ahmadinejad's shill and stage assistant is indeed the Mahdi (Expected One or Messiah), while others will pretend to believe unless they want to find themselves hanging from nooses at the end of cranes.

The program describes in glowing terms the messianic age to be inaugurated by the Mahdi. He is to begin his uprising in Mecca, and then march on Iraq, where he will establish his "seat of world government" in the city of Kufa and subjugate the current world powers. This will be an age of unparalleled happiness; there will be completely new technologies at mankind's disposal, and "corruption, war, and rebellion will no longer exist."

This is the typical Messianic scenario that is promised by every religion on earth that promises a Messiah. Christians believe that this will happen when Jesus returns, while Hindus say the same thing about the Tenth Avatar, or incarnation, of Vishnu. (Rama was the eigth avatar, while Krishna was the ninth.) Eastern philosophy predicts the coming of a monarch who will be a perfect king, who will rule under the Mandate of Heaven. "Mandate of Heaven" means accordance with the Way (Tao, Do, Dharma), or the natural laws that govern all human behavior.

Various days of the year are mentioned as being propitious for the appearance of the Mahdi, though the program says that the precise date cannot be known.

This is similar to the Christian belief that the world will know "neither the day nor the hour" of Jesus' return. We have little doubt, however, that the Mahdi will indeed show up on one of those propitious days, and he will doubtlessly recite whatever script Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has prepared for him.
Here is more detail of what the Iranian media is telling millions of superstitious and credulous followers:

"Contrary to the views of western theoreticians, who usually depict an ambiguous and dark future for mankind, Muslim experts believe human history, despite its many ups and downs, has a very auspicious fate, and with the appearance of the Imam of the Age, Hazrat Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), finally the world matters will gain order. Muslims believe hopes for the realization of such a happy ending for the world, are called 'Awaiting Redemption', and means waiting for man's problems to be solved by the Savior at the end of time. This awaiting influences many, and inspires them with activity and enthusiasm in confronting darkness and oppression for changing the existing situation…

It's this business of waiting for a Savior who is going to solve everyone's problems that opens the door to the most horrific monsters who ever lived. Most Germans believed during the 1930s that Hitler was solving all their problems but, ten years later, their nation was divided, occupied, and in ruins while one out of every ten Germans was dead.

"When that Promised Person who is the direct descendent of the Prophet rises up, the sun of justice and freedom will shine on the hearts and he with his kind hands will extend friendship throughout the world. His face will be attractive and his look charismatic. He is humble before God's greatness. He is a manifestation of God's glory and beauty. Imam Mahdi is the perfect human being. His behavior is praiseworthy and his manners immaculate. He is the embodiment of justice. His torch of guidance is for all mankind…
"In short, when he reappears, peace, justice and security will overcome oppression and deceit and one global government, the most perfect ever, will be established. He will make the earth prosper in a way in which no ruins will remain. Man's maturity will reach its height, full equality will be established among the people, and no one will be arrogant toward the other and will not try to dominate others. Finally, corruption, war and rebellion will no longer exist and everything will be new and fresh like spring."

And there will be pie in the sky by and by, too.
Now of course we come to the jihad or holy war. It will, after all, be necessary to kill millions of innocent people to create the promised "paradise on earth:"

"After his appearance the Imam would remain in Mecca for some time, and then go to Medina. According to narrations, Sofyani, a descendant of the Prophet's archenemy Abu Sofyan, will seize Syria and attack Iraq and the Hejaz with the ferocity of a beast. The Sofyani will commit great crimes against humanity in Iraq, slaughtering people bearing the names of the infallible Imams, and his army will lay siege to the city of Kufa and to Holy Najaf. Of course, many incidents take place in this line and finally Imam Mahdi sends troops who kill the Sofyani in Beit ol-Moqaddas [i.e. Jerusalem], the Islamic holy city in Palestine that is currently under occupation of the Zionists. Soon a pious person from the progeny of Imam Hasan Mojtaba… meets with the Imam. He is a venerable God-fearing individual from Iran. Before the Imam's appearance he fights oppression and corruption and enters Iraq to lift the siege of Kufa and holy Najaf and to defeat the forces of Sofyani in Iraq. He then pledges allegiance to Imam Mahdi.

Remember that Iranians ("Aryans") are not Arabs, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad doubtlessly regards Palestinian Arabs as his racial inferiors. The thought of this Iranian "Aryan" with nuclear bombs should terrify all decent people everywhere.

Palestine Solidarity Movement encourages Palestinian Muslims to convert to Christianity

While the Palestinian Solidarity Movement does not necessarily subscribe to evangelist Jack Chick's theology, it recognizes that Christian culture--in terms of prescribing how people should behave toward one another--is totally superior to most forms of "Islam" that are practiced in Gaza and the West Bank. In addition, Lebanese Christians tend to have far better educations and far higher incomes than Lebanese Muslims, thus reinforcing the Palestine Solidarity Movement's conclusion that Christianity leads to a far better way of life.

As shown in Sky Lighter from Chick Publications, this is what militant "Islamic" mullahs and imams are teaching Palestinian children today. Note, of course, that the gray-bearded imam who is telling Palestinian children that they will go to Paradise to enjoy the services of 70 dark-eyed virgins did not get to be a gray-bearded imam by acting on the advice he is giving these boys.

While mainstream Islam teaches the same lessons as Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, and all other mainstream religions--things like loving your neighbor, not doing violence to other people, and respecting the natural rights of all people--the militant "Islam" that is prevalent in Gaza and the West Bank teaches its followers to:

(1) Kill female family members for "adultery," which includes being raped.
(2) Murder other people because of their religion or sexual orientation
(3) Commit suicide while murdering other people
(4) Engage in mindless violence that keeps Palestinians poor while their Judeo-Christian neighbors become rich through application of Judeo-Christian ethics and principles.

The Palestine Solidarity Movement accordingly concludes that conversion to Christianity and adoption of Christian principles would be in the best interests of the Palestinian people, and would result in an enormous improvement in their standard of living.

It has come to the attention of the Palestine Solidarity Movement that the San Francisco Bay Area Indymedia collective (Indybay.org) is running out of money and may have to shut down. In light of Indybay's whitewashing of human rights abuses against Palestinian women and gay people, the Palestinian Solidarity Movement welcomes the end of this worse-than-useless organization.

It is a matter of record that Indybay's collective censored postings that exposed femicide ("honor killings") of Palestinian and other Arab women, torture and murder of a female photojournalist in Iran, and state-sanctioned brutalization of gay people by the Palestinian Authority. Solidarity with the Palestinian people accordingly requires condemnation of Indybay in the strongest terms.

A Jewish Voice for Peace tries to defend MoveOn.org over hate speech controversy

A Jewish Voice for Peace issued us a call-out or challenge at Muzzlewatch.com, a site that accuses the pro-Israel side of attempting to silence criticism of Israel. There are plenty of legends about entities whose names should not be spoken aloud, lest they turn their attention to the speaker. While the First Amendment prevents anyone from "silencing" anyone else in this country, exercise of our own First Amendment rights and the "open debate" that JVP says it wants so much may in fact encourage JVP to silence itself.

Palestine Solidarity Movement condemns Hamas' reckless killing of civilians

The Palestine Solidarity Movement, a decentralized network of individuals and organizations for Palestinian human rights, condemns the wanton and reckless killing of eight Palestinian civilians in Gaza by a Hamas land mine. The Palestine Solidarity Movement cites this as further evidence that Hamas, a terrorist organization as defined by the U.S. State Department, should never receive recognition as the Palestinian "government."

Some people and organizations are arguing for the outright abolition of land mines as indiscriminate weapons that endanger innocent people long after the conflict in question is over. We disagree; international law already provides for safeguards like marking mine fields and removing all mines at the end of the conflict. As shown by Israel Proves Gaza Deaths Caused by Palestinian Terrorism, Hamas, with total disregard for the lives and safety of Palestinian people, simply left an unmarked explosive device lying around where it could be, and was, triggered by innocent noncombatants.

The IDF told the INA that they were using maps, photographs, video of the aftermath and shrapnel taken from the injured in Gaza and treated in Israel to prove that it would have been impossible for the explosion to have come from an Israel navy craft, the Israel Air Force or Israel ground artillery. Israel General Meir Califi, deputy head of ground forces said that it was most likely a landmine which had been planted on the beach by Hamas.

The Palestine Solidarity Movement further condemns the use of innocent Palestinian people as human shields by Hamas and other terrorist organizations, as described in the same article.

Palestinian terrorists have been using their own civilian population as human shields for many years. An even more disturbing trend is that there is increasing evidence that "Palestinians" are killing "Palestinians" not only for collaboration with Israel (which could mean as little as buying and selling an Israeli product), but also for bumping up the numbers of "martyrs" for the "Palestinian" cause.

We contended long ago that the terrorists will create martyrs if they don't have them readily available. This may well be what happened in Jenin, and there is very substantial evidence that the International Solidarity Movement and/or its handlers set up Rachel Corrie to be killed for the same purpose.

Preemptive attack on Iran is justified

The Palestine Solidarity Movement, a decentralized network of individuals and organizations for Palestinian human rights, declares that a preemptive attack on Iran by Israel, the United Kingdom, and/or United States would be a reasonable and necessary use of force and an act of self-defense.

NOTING THAT:

(1) Under civilian law, the use of deadly physical force against another person is justified when and only when the user is in “reasonable fear” for his/her life or safety.

(2) “Reasonable fear” requires the other person to display (a) intent to cause death or serious bodily harm and (b) the means (such as brandishing a weapon) to put this intention into effect.

(3) The same principles can be extended to international relations, noting further that there is no police officer to whom one can appeal for protection against a clear and present danger to one’s country

(4) Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has expressed his intention to destroy the United States, Israel, and the United Kingdom (in that order) and is now displaying the means (uranium enrichment for the stated purpose of developing nuclear weapons).

It is eminently clear that the United States, Israel, and United Kingdom are within their rights to destroy Iran’s nuclear capability with a preemptive attack, noting that efforts should be made to destroy only Iran’s military assets and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s government while sparing innocent civilians who may not share Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s delusions of godhood.

Further noting that:

In addition to drawing inevitable retaliation that would kill millions of Iranians, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s use of nuclear weapons against Israel would doubtlessly kill tens of thousands (if not more) Palestinians. To prevent harm to innocent Palestinians, the Palestine Solidarity Movement accordingly takes the position that Iran’s nuclear capability should be destroyed before Iran can use it.

Palestine Solidarity Movement condemns Palestinian "culture of death"

The Palestine Solidarity Movement, a decentralized network of individuals and organizations for Palestinian human rights, formally and officially deplores the horrific human rights violations in which Palestinian children are raised almost from birth to be suicide bombers. The Hamas-occupied Palestinian Authority's promotion of this culture of death proves it totally unfit to be recognized by the civilized world and the Palestine Solidarity Movement urges all governments to cut off funding from the so-called Palestinian Authority.

In Robert Sheckley's The Victim from Space, violent death was the highest reward to which any citizen could aspire. Violent death was earned by performing deeds that served the society, with "rewards" (in ascending order) consisting of being bashed over the head with a mace, having poisoned slivers driven under one's fingernails, being burned alive, being staked out on an anthill, and something known as "The Ultimate." Suicide, such as arranging to have a tree with long spines fall on yourself or arranging to have a bridge collapse under you, was considered a sin that resulted in punishment in the afterlife. The Palestinians have actually succeeded in creating a dysfunctional society that once existed only in the minds of science fiction authors.

As seen here, Palestinians raise their children from birth to be suicide bombers. As shown here, one Hamas sow-- I refer to it as a sow because, like a typical female pig, it bred litters of children for the sole purpose of having them (self)slaughtered as opposed to growing up as productive citizens-- said it felt no grief over its son's death in a "martyrdom" operation and said it would gladly sacrifice its other sons:

Interviewer: You have 10 sons.

Farhat: Yes, Allah be praised.

Interviewer: If another is killed ...

Farhat: There are many young men. ...

Interviewer: Will your heart be filled with unbearable sorrow?

Farhat: No, no. Allah be praised, I am preparing myself. I will sacrifice them all. If my duty requires me to sacrifice them all, I will not refuse – even if it costs me a hundred sons.

Parents in even the most warlike societies grieve when they lose a son on a battlefield. In contrast, this sow is eager to let its sons die for "the Cause." Note, however, like the other cowardly scum who call themselves Palestinian "leaders," it is in no big hurry to sacrifice itself.

"Ask for Death - the life will be given to you." This slogan, which was broadcast on Palestinian television on July 5th of last year, was also the headline chosen by the authors of Palestinian Media Watch as the title of their 40th research report. This report examines the social pressure exerted by the Palestinian Authority [PA] on children to die as "Shahids" [Death for Allah].
...Marcus and his colleagues have concluded that, having been exposed to such messages, young Palestinian children from the ages of six till nine play "death" games and role-play the dead. Children between the ages of 10 to 13 express the will to die, sometimes in televised interviews, and from the age of 14 some even take part in suicide attacks.

Furthermore,

The anarchy predicted for Gaza has become a reality. It is now ruled by warlords, armed gangs, an terrorists, with no independent judiciary or anything like the rule of law. ...the killing of Jews is presented as a relgious obligation-- labeling them the enemies of Allah, all to be annhilated. ...This notion of the shahid martyr has become so ingrained in the Palestinian culture that it is a major theme of formal education, family values, religious practices, television broadcasting, posters, pre-suicide eulogies, trading cards, family celebrations, movies, music, games, and summer camp. A study by a Palestinian psychiatrist, Shafik Massalah, found that over half of the Palestinian population ages 5 to 11 dreams of becoming a suicide bomber. The same Maadi said on PA-controlled television, "Shame upon he who does not educate his children in the education of jihad. Blessings upon he who dons a vest of explosives on himself or on his children and goes upon the midst of the Jews." It is eminently clear that a so-called government, the Hamas-occupied Palestinian Authority, that not merely tolerates but encourages child abuse-- the rearing of children for no purpose but to use them as live ammunition-- is an enemy not merely of Civilization but also of its own people. The Palestine Solidarity Movement therefore declares that the Palestinian Authority is totally unworthy of recognition and that it should be denied all diplomatic contact and financial assistance.

The Palestinian Authority and Hamas condone and even encourage brutalization, oppression, and murder of gay people because of their sexual orientation. "United Nations aid organizations are warning that the Gaza Strip is on the verge of a humanitarian disaster due to a lack of money and food. David Shearer, head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), told Foreign Ministry officials that if there is no significant change in the situation, Gaza will face a humanitarian crisis as bad as the one in Kosovo. "

It may be recalled that, when the Palestinian Authority took over Gaza last year, greenhouses with which the Palestinians could have raised food were destroyed wholesale.

It is eminently clear that the Palestinian Authority, which is now controlled by a Foreign Terrorist Organization (Hamas) that is more interested in perpetuating a war with its neighbors than it is in providing food, housing, education, and economic opportunities to its own people, is entirely responsible for the humanitarian crisis that is now festering in Gaza. Palestine Solidarity Movement urges cutoff of Hamas funding

The Palestine Solidarity Movement, a decentralized network of individuals and organizations for Palestinian human rights, praises the decision of the United States and Canada to cut off financial assistance to the Palestinian Authority after its takeover by Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization as defined by the U.S. State Department.

Hamas is a menace not only to Israelis but also to peace-loving and productive Palestinians. As just one example, Hamas intends to violate the basic human rights of all Christian Arabs under its jurisdiction.

Hamas' stated unwillingness to live in peace with Israel effectively places it in a declared state of war with another country, thus exposing innocent Palestinians to almost-unavoidable collateral damage when Hamas terrorists conceal themselves in the civilian population in violation of the Geneva Convention. The terrorist Palestinian "government" is in fact perpetuating at least two serious war crimes against the Palestinian people as shown here:

"The presence or movements of the civilian population or individual civilians shall not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations, in particular in attempts to shield military objectives from attacks or to shield, favour or impede military operations. The parties to the conflict shall not direct the movement of the civilian population or individual civilians in order to shield military objectives from attacks or to shield military operations."– Protocol to the Geneva Conventions of 1949, Article 51

Furthermore, noting the Palestinian Authority's recruitment of children almost from birth as suicide bombers,

Article 77 of Additional Protocol I, applicable to international armed conflicts, states: "The Parties to the conflict shall take all feasible measures in order that children who have not attained the age of fifteen years do not take a direct part in hostilities and, in particular, they shall refrain from recruiting them into their armed forces. "

A so-called government that perpetuates war and violence with its neighbors at the expense of its own innocent civilians is totally unworthy of recognition, let alone financial aid and support, from civilized nations. The Palestinian Solidarity Movement, in solidarity with Palestinian human rights, therefore urges all governments to deny recognition to Hamas and cut off all material support to this terrorist entity.

In order to decentralize their organization to avoid decisive political attacks on a single element, that so-called Palestine Solidarity Movement decided to avoid having a corporate identity or trademark and, to the best of our knowledge, is not entitled to the exclusive use of the name "Palestine Solidarity Movement." We have just as much right to use it as they do. In fact, we have more right to use it because we really do stand in solidarity with decent and peace-loving Palestinians as opposed to the terrorists who are oppressing and terrorizing Palestinian people along with innocent Israelis.
